Jason Hou is a specialist in acupuncture at Solar Health Physical Therapy & Acupuncture, located in Brooklyn, NY. He has over 7 years of clinical experience working as a licensed acupuncturist. Jason started his journey in the helping profession as a trauma care technician in the U.S. Army more than a decade ago. He then went on to pursue a career in acupuncture. Over the years, Jason gained valuable experience working with patients suffering from a wide range of conditions.

Jason earned his master's degree in acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science. As a part of his education, Jason was also trained in electrical stimulation, Moxa, cupping, and tuina in addition to acupuncture during his internship.

Jason has an extensive experience in pain management, Chinese Medicine diet, weight management, stress reduction, and post-surgery recovery. His patient also often see him for various problems, such as lower back pain, radicular pain, itching, hip pain, gastrointestinal problems, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, arthritis, frozen shoulder, carpel tunnel syndrome, and Bell’s palsy.
